 Production Manager – 2nd Shift

Job Description:

  1. Production Managers plan, direct, and coordinate the production activities within their departments. They make sure production activities within their departments. They make sure production proceeds smoothly and stays within lead time and budget.
  2. Production Managers have the responsibility to oversee the production process, reducing costs and inefficiencies wherever necessary and making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality. They do this by analyzing/scheduling their employees, resources, and capital to select the best way of meeting the production goals.
  3. Production Managers may decide which machines (capital equipment/capital expenditures) will be used, whether new machines need to be purchased, whether overtime or extra shifts are necessary, and what the order of production should be. They monitor and report on the production process to make sure that it stays on schedule and that problems are corrected.
  4. Part of the Production Manager’s job is to find ways to make the production process more efficient by utilizing “lean” production techniques.
  5. Industrial production managers supervise the overall production activities of a plant’s manufacturing department.

 

Production Manager – 2nd Shift Requirements:

This position is for a 2nd Shift Production Manager.

Key expectations for the Production Manager include:

  1. Leadership of production personnel in achieving production, quality, and safety goals.
  2. Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel and implement necessary actions for improvement.
  3. Understand and enforce compliance to production processes, quality standards, and health/safety regulations.
  4. Lead process improvement initiatives that reduce costs, improve quality, and reduce cycle times.
  5. Collaborate with manufacturing management, operators, and maintenance on implementing strategic capital projects.

The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree in Business Administration/Industrial Technology, or equivalent relevant experience and have at least 5 years of Industrial Production management responsibility. Knowledge and experience in metal fabrication, metalworking, welding, and complimentary production processes. Demonstrated knowledge and success in implementing lean manufacturing methodologies, problem solving, and process improvements. Candidates should also be proficient in blueprint interpretation, MS Office products, ERP software, as well as, a willingness to work “hands-on” in an industrial environment.

 

CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift

Duties:

  1. Day to day operation of CNC machines following work lists, shop routers or direction from immediate supervisor while maintaining work schedule and adhering to set time standards.
  2. Employee is responsible for all set up including first piece inspection and fixture design, when required.
  3. Use the overhead crane to position work pieces weighing up to several thousand pounds in a safe manner using cables, slings and chains.
  4. Keep workstation clean and orderly.
  5. Perform other similar and related duties as assigned by supervisor.

CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift Requirements:

  1. Must be able to read fairly complicated drawings and have ability to use shop mathematics, formulas and a variety of precision measuring instruments.
  2. Minimum six (6) months experience with and, the understanding of numerical controls to create programs from engineering drawings.  (conversational/standard).
  3. Minimum of one (1) year experience.  Must be able to setup and operate turret, engine and NC (numerically controlled) and CNC lathes.
  4. Minimum of one (1) year experience.  Must be able to set up and operate horizontal and vertical CNC machining centers including the setting of all tooling and fixtures, proper feeds and speeds, using both carbide and high-speed steel tools.
  5. Must possess a good knowledge of machining processes acquired through formal training, including knowledge of materials, feeds, speeds, tooling, inserts, coolant, drills, taps, etc.
  6. This is a second shift position – availability for second shift is required.

(INDUSTRIAL) SPRAY PAINTER – Wager Rd 1st Shift 

Requirements:

  1. Demonstrated experience using proper paints and thinners such as epoxy, urethane, enamel, etc., to achieve good quality and appearance. This may require interpreting engineering drawings or paint manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Make necessary settings to gun and spray equipment to achieve good results.
  3. Make minor repairs to spray gun as necessary.
  4. Use proper masking material and mask off parts not receiving paint.
  5. Make necessary surface preparations to insure good results.
  6. Keep work station neat and orderly.
  7. Must have experience using a crane and rigging equipment such as chains and lifting straps. Must have experience using scissor lifts and fork trucks.
  1.  Will be required to use safety equipment such as a harness, respirator and any other PPE as deemed necessary to complete daily tasks in a safe manner.
  2. Perform other similar and related duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

Vibratory (HiVi) Utility Assembler (2nd Shift)

Requirements:

  1. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and use basic shop math including decimals and fractions.
  2. Able to read and follow engineering drawings, assembly procedures, instruction manuals and material/pick lists to complete assemblies.
  3. Able to use specialized tools/fixtures, both electrical and mechanical to complete assembly.
  4. Able to use epoxies and adhesives as required in assembly applications.
  5. Able to work in a safe manner dealing with powerful magnets and high voltage.
  6. Perform assembly work in other areas as directed by supervisor/leadman.

Duties:

  1. Work where needed, as directed by immediate supervisor or leadman.
  2. Willing to learn new job skills pertaining to Vibratory (HiVi), Coil assembly and other assigned duties.
  3. Willing and able to work with others as required.
  4. Perform other similar and related duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

Technical Sales Representative – International Sales

Duties:

  1. Work closely with representatives and customers by phone, mail, and in person to solve problems.
  2. Recommend and price the appropriate equipment for the customer’s application.
  3. Work closely with Engineering and Technical Center personnel to solve application problems.
  4. Travel with field representatives and make sales calls and sales presentations to get orders for all product lines in Latin America, parts of Asia, and other territories as may be assigned.
  5. Train customers and new reps in pricing and applying Separation, Vibratory and Metal Detection equipment.
  6. Entertain and act as guide during representative and customer visits, including coordinating lab tests and sales training sessions.
  7. Occasionally perform start-up and service calls.
  8. Act as liaison between customers and reps in the field and various Eriez home office departments.
  9. Be familiar with the policies, products, pricing, etc., of the markets served by the Company and the sales department, and assist as necessary.
  10. Entertain and act as company host during representative and customer visits, including coordinating lab tests and sales training sessions.
  11. Other similar and related duties as assigned.

Technical Sales Representative – International Sales Requirements:

  1. Four-year Degree, Bachelor of Science, Business Management, Engineering or eight years equivalent related experience.
  2. 3-5 years applicable sales/marketing experience, preferably industrial equipment in process industries.
  3. Ability to work with people at customer, representative and inside levels with little supervision.
  4. Excellent communication skills including business and technical writing.  Considerable telephone work
  5. Able to handle details of equipment sales, including commercial and technical issues and work effectively under pressure.
  6. Must be willing to travel, mostly internationally, as necessary (typically 30-35%, may be more from time to time)
  7. Experience with personal computers, word processing and spreadsheet applications required.
  8. Exceptional language skills required.  Must be able to speak, read & write in Spanish.  Other languages (French) a plus.
  9. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and eligible to obtain any and all travel visas required.

Software Engineer

Duties:

  1. Design, write, and debug software for industrial inspection, sorting, and measurement equipment using various platforms such as Windows and other embedded systems.
  2. Design, write, and debug software running on a PC to provide various functionalities including ability to communicate to equipment and software to test circuit boards.
  3. Collaborate with electrical engineers to plan, design, and develop systems to ensure compatibility and performance of the software and hardware.
  4. Use version control software and clearly document changes.
  5. Work independently or in a team and report progress to immediate supervisor.
  6. Evaluate new technologies to help expand and enhance current product offerings.
  7. Develop user documentation for Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing and Customers.
  8. Work with customers to solve field equipment problems.
  9. Perform other similar and related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

 

Software Engineer Requirements:

  1. Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering.
  2. Minimum 5 years’ experience programming, developing and debugging software for a Windows PC environment using C# and Visual C++.
  3. Minimum 5 years with experience programming, developing and debugging software for real time deterministic systems with an embedded microcontroller using C, C++, and assembler programming languages.
  4. Experience with embedded systems using RTOS, and systems with no operating system.
  5. Experience with Digital Signal Processing techniques is highly desirable.
  6. Experience with graphical user interfaces (GUIs) on a Windows platform.
  7. Experience with networking and integrating equipment.
  8. Experience with peripheral buses I2C, UART, SPI, USB.
  9. Possess experience with version control software.
  10. Proficient using oscilloscopes, volt meters, and other electronic test equipment.
  11. Able to read and understand electrical/electronic circuit schematics.
  12. Capable of taking full responsibility for a product development project from inception to completion.
  13. Capable of working in a team environment.
  14. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to assist Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and Customers.
  15. Willing to travel on occasion.

Research and Development Magnet Design Engineer

Duties:

  1. Design permanent magnet circuits, electro-magnet circuits, and electro-permanent magnet circuits for magnetic separation equipment, vibratory conveying equipment, and magnamation equipment.
  2. Construct 2-d and 3-d magnetic models of new and existing magnet circuits using INFOLYTICA FEA software to evaluate circuit performance (static and dynamic).
  3. Evaluate power requirements and thermal effects for static and dynamic operation of magnetic separation equipment due to eddy currents and operating heat losses.
  4. Evaluate and specify permanent magnet materials for magnet circuits
  5. Conduct lab tests to verify magnet circuit designs
  6. Evaluate magnet vendors and provide test procedures to inspect new magnet materials
  7. Work with the Central Test Lab to ensure that magnetic separation tests conducted on lab equipment will simulate actual field operation with thermal losses.
  8. Provide technical support to Engineering, Manufacturing, and Service for new and existing magnetic product lines.
  9. Provide technical assistance to the Sales Department for field application
  10. Perform other duties as specified by immediate supervisor.


Research and Development Magnet Design Engineer Requirements:

  1. Possess a strong analytical background with the ability to mathematically model static and dynamic system
  2. Possess the knowledge of fundamental principles of electro-magnet design
  3. Possess the knowledge of fundamental principles of permanent magnet design
  4. Possess the ability to mathematically analyze magnetic circuits using textbook solutions and FEA tools.
  5. Possess the “hands-on” skills to set-up and test prototype magnetic circuits
  6. Possess experience in designing and manufacturing oil filled, potted, and dry magnet coils, including experience with coil winding processes
  7. Possess good communication and technical writing skills
  8. Work in a team environment on R&D projects that lead to new and improved product lines
  9. Willing to travel up to 10%

Education:

Position requires a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of experience in magnet circuit design.

ERP/MRP Systems Administrator

Duties:

  1. Vision! Ability to understand the company’s business requirements and map them to the required technology on an ongoing constant improvement basis
  2. Works proactively with all levels in the organization to identify business functions and processes that can be improved by applying information technology to generate increased profits
  3. Supporting the day to day needs and problems of the ERP/MRP/CRM and related Systems
  4. Installation, upgrading and patching of all ERP Systems, including all 3rd party applications
  5. Setup and configure Development and Test environments for future upgrades
  6. Maintain users/profiles within the ERP system and DB
  7. Support the application and servers (or SaaS) utilized by the ERP Systems
  8. Overall health and performance of all ERP Systems including application, web and database servers
  9. Perform version and patch level upgrades / implementations of the ERP and related Software
  10. Create customizations for the ERP system using SQL, macros, & other 3rd party tools
  11. Monitor, document, and report on changes to the database and ERP system for audit compliance
  12. Maintain and monitor ERP system backups
  13. Create ad hoc reports/SQL queries to extract data from the ERP system as needed
  14. Integrate and maintain integrations of 3rd party tools into the systems
  15. Staying current on all technologies utilized by the ERP Systems
  16. Working with ERP vendors to resolve problems

ERP Related Project Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of ERP and related projects
  2. Defines and builds a strong project management culture and the organizational capabilities that deliver high quality, timely and cost-effective information technology solutions Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

  4. You will be working with employees, vendors and management, often spinning multiple plates at once
  5. You must keep your employees motivated and resolve conflicts

ERP Related Project Requirements:

  1. S. in the field of computer science or equivalent, an advanced degree in the management of information technology is preferred
  2. At least 5 years of experience supporting ERP systems (Oracle or equivalent)
  3. Experience with a global manufacturing and supply chain business is ideal.
  4. Strong Database background — you will be tasked with writing complex queries, stored procedures, triggers and functions
  5. Experience with Excel macros
  6. An upbeat, positive demeanor along with a genuine interest in learning new things
  7. Knowledge of relational databases and client/server environments
  8. Hands-on experience installing and configuring systems

 Duties:

  1. Ability to understand the company’s business requirements and map them to the required technology

  2. For major projects, extensive experience in developing project definitions and plans, including business requirements, technical requirements, costs and benefits analysis, and implementation plans, and successful execution of the implementation plans developed.
  3. Understands the workflow and process requirements of complex application systems
  4. Experience managing a set of application systems for a medium to large sized company, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
