Parker Braun, a first-team All-ACC offensive guard from Georgia Tech, will play at Texas this season as a grad transfer, according to multiple reports Sunday.
Braun is likely to step into the starting left guard position, vacated by the departure of senior Patrick Vahe.
The Longhorns hope to plug in Braun as seamlessly as they did last season with another hyped grad transfer offensive lineman, Calvin Anderson from Rice. Anderson held down the left tackle position last season as Texas went 9-4 and finished No. 9 in the AP poll.
Braun earned first-team All-ACC honors last season after being second-team all-league in 2017. He started 32 games in three seasons for the Yellow Jackets.
Braun is expected to graduate from Georgia Tech in May. He was considered one of the top non-quarterback grad transfers available this offseason.
