Who’s the NBA MVP: James Harden or LeBron James?

After the 2017-18 NBA season, two players are arguably head and shoulders above the rest: James Harden and LeBron James. Harden has led the Houston Rockets to the best record in the league with unstoppable offensive moves and pinpoint passing. James continues to be dominant, leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to the playoffs through a tumultuous season in his 15th year in the NBA. Who’s the NBA MVP?PERSPECTIVESDon’t call it a comeback. James Harden’s been here for years. He’s finally getting the recognition he deserves after being criminally overlooked the past few seasons because of Russell Westbrook’s triple-doubles and LeBron James being LeBron James. Harden is the best player on the team with the best record in the NBA, leading the league in scoring and throwing in 8.8 assists per game. He is unguardable in Mike D’Antoni’s pace-and-space offense, and being recognized as anything less than an MVP would be a travesty.
